Go to maps.google.com and search for your address. Switch to Satellite view by clicking "Layers" in the bottom left corner.
Right-Click to "Measure Distance"
Right-click on one corner of your roof and select "Measure distance". A white dot will appear — this is your starting point.
Trace Your Roof Outline
Click on each corner of your roof to draw a shape around it. When you close the shape (click back on the starting point), Google will show you the total area in square feet.
